The Essential Bond of Love
The goal of our instruction is love. Love is the bond that holds us together. A great church is one that serves in love. We seek to embrace and encourage all believer in Christ regardless of their background. We are passionate to raise up children and youth to know and serve Christ.
Care for the HurtingWe sense the Lord's calling to love the unlovely, the outcast, the broken- now showing preference to those who have value in this world but calling sinners to repentance, offering healing to the sick, and the hope of the Gospel to all.
We seek to foster an atmosphere of being open, transparent, accountable, and honest with God and each other. As a family we recognize the need to know one another, and to be known by each other. Church ministry proceeds out of our relationships. The goal of all programs is to serve, not to be served.
The church is committed to go and make disciples. Discipleship is a lifelong process which begins with salvation. As we follow Christ, we help others by sharing with them what we've been given. It is our desire to reach, men, train and send. We desire to walk in integrity, purity, and holiness protecting the flock of God from evil while being a light to a world lost in darkness.
Structure for Ministry
Simple organization and quality communication are fundamental to effective, fruitful ministry. The Spirit of the Lord directs the church to fruitful works effective in our culture and time. We are willing to change our methods as the Lord directs In all we do we seek to be guided by the Bible, the inspired authoritative Word of God and our only rule for faith and practice. Our local church is led by men holding the office of Elder whose job is to willingly shepherd the flock of God as those who must give an account for the souls of the congregation. We work in agreement with the Open Door Commission (sister churches in the Open Door Association) We seek to be open to the Holy Spirit's leading in all we do. We welcome testimonies and spiritual insights from the body of Christ as we gather for worship. We submit such public sharing to the authority of the Scriptures and the Spiritual discernment of our leadership.
