We are a non-denominational church that seeks to function as a family, and yet be active in the larger family of God throughout our community. We believe we are to serve and to help meet the needs of our community. In essence, we are called to be a cutting edge that impacts our whole community.
Open Door Christian Church of Novato is part of the Open Door Commission. The Commission is made up of leaders from our Novato church and those located in Petaluma, San Rafael, American Canyon, and Suisun.

CALIFORNIA MARRIAGE PROTECTION ACT - PROPOSITION 8
Right now we are hosting a series of "Webinars" (web hosted seminars) to alert the Church at large of the need to support the passage of Propsition 8 in the California elections in November. Passage of Proposition 8 will define marriage as between one man and one woman in the California State Constitution.
